You're right menossin - the great Bert Jansch is still underrated and unheard of by most people. A true shame. I am trying to spread the word in my own little way :)

I was lucky to see Bert in Vienna Va last year and he did two Jackson C. Frank songs including this one and the more recognized Blues Run the Game. Carnival it is a brilliant piece... and I will always treasure their great contributions.... I never did get to see Jackson C. Frank perform, but his letter to me in the early 1990s framed how tragic his life was including the fire that took several of his elementary school classmates near Buffalo NY in 1954.
